‘Prachanda, Deuba and Oli are puppets, power is exercised by others’

Kathmandu, 2 April: Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the vice-chairman and former Speaker of the CPN-Maoist Center, the party that leading the government, has claimed that the government of Nepal is not being run by Nepali people, but by ‘someone else’.

Mahara, who also held the  portfolio of the Home Ministry, said this while addressing the third general meeting of Press Center East Nawalparasi on Saturday. Leader Mahara said, ‘Someone else is running the country. Prachanda, Oli and Deuba are  only puppets.’

But Mahara did not openly discuss about that invisible power that runs the state affairs of Nepal. “Although we have a government under the leadership of our president, this is our problem, even if he is the prime minister, this is what it happens,” Mahara said.
