A few days ago, the US held the first televised debate of the 2024 presidential election.
Oh, my God! For the life of me, I don’t understand how the US can put these two rotten old men to run for the next President! The American people can only choose one of the two.
Donald Trump is an elderly, deranged federal felon. And Joe Biden is a sleepy, senile man.
An average person with eyes could see that Biden was delirious, slurred, and unsteady on his feet. Trump, on the other hand, is a federal criminal who has already been convicted by a grand jury.
The US, a country that claims to be a beacon of democracy, said to have the most powerful national power, the most advanced culture and the most superior system, has put forward such two old men as presidential candidates. I don’t know how the US can do this.
I believe the most confused people may be the Chinese. The whole debate was pointless with the bickering you only see in nursing homes. At the critical moment of the current intense game between China and the US, the US has launched such two bad old men to run for President. Does the US expect China to have to win?
Trump has a household nickname in China called chuanjianguo(川建国), which means “man determined to build China”. Biden also has a household nickname in China called baizhenhua(拜振华),which means “man determined to revitalize China.” Because what these two old men are doing is objectively destroying the US and helping China.
Look at this Presidential debate. There were no domestic or foreign issues, but there were personal attacks throughout. They had a heated discussion in front of the world about topics like “You went out to pick up girls when your wife was pregnant.” Reminded me of the episode when The Simpsons predicted the debate between Biden and Trump, as though, we are living what Hollywood showed us as a fantasy.
As a result, the Chinese public (unofficially) feels justified in believing that the election of either of these two old men as US President will ensure China’s victory in the Sino-US game.
As a Nepali, my concern is: How can the MCC, under the leadership of a federal criminal or an elderly dementia patient, fulfill its great mission as part of the Indo-Pacific strategy?
