Kathmandu, May 3: President Ramchandra Paudel, under the recommendation of the government, has called the budget session of the House of Representatives beginning from May 10.
Whether the Parliament meeting will run smoothly or not is not clear as the government decided to end the winter session of Parliament following continued disruption of the House meeting by the Nepali Congress demanding the constitution of a parliamentary probe commission on the alleged involvement of DPM and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the cooperative fraud case.
Since then, the ruling party and the main opposition party, NC have not made any agreement for running the House meeting.
