Girija Prasad Koirala has apologised publicly and other high-ranking leaders of the Nepali Congress (NC) have constantly been in touch with me. I have made it clear several times that wherever there is a danger to democracy “I will not keep quiet but will protect democracy”.
The former NC supreme Ganesh man Singh, made those comments to the BBC Nepali service last Monday.
Singh said, “I am ready to tour the country to canvass for the democratic cause if it is guaranteed that blunders of the past that nourished dictatorship will never be repeated”.
