Kathmandu, May 26: China has reopened all 14 border trade points which remained closed since the spreading of the Covid-19 pandemic.
DPM and Foreign Minister Narayankaji Shrestha and Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, Silam Nima jointly announced the reopening of the border trade points amidst a function at Chentang on Saturday.
Minister Shrestha had reached Chetang in Tibet to attend the border-points reopening program.
Reopening the trade points with China will facilitate people in remote areas of the country and also increase trade relations between Nepal and China.
The Kimithanka border is the shortest route connecting Biratnagar to China.
