BABBLES

Above 17 thousand people sacrificed their lives in the so-called Jana Yuddha (people’s war). Thousands have become the victims of the bloody war. The destruction of the infrastructural bases of the nation pushed back Nepal for at least fifty years. Today, the leaders are exporting our youths to foreign countries, and they are involved in rampant looting.
Immediate past vice president Nandakishor Pun’s two sons and officers in his secretariat were found involved in gold smuggling. Several leaders are in judiciary custody on the charge of sending Nepali nationals to the USA under the cover of Bhutanese refugees, Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara’s son is facing the charge of being involved in gold smuggling. During the insurgency, they looted the property of people, alleging them to be feudal, and they looted banks. Even after they joined the government, their habits didn’t change. Now, misusing power, they are found to be involved in gold smuggling.
Interestingly, they are now involved in Dhan Yuddha (a war for collecting property)!
Politics and prostitution
There are many similarities between politics and prostitution in the Nepali context. Political leaders are like prostitutes, and the prostitutes are like politicians. There is no meaning or definition of honesty among them.
For example, not long ago, KP Sharma Oli denounced Pushpakamal Dahal for practising nepotism by nominating Narayan Dahal, a cousin of PM Dahal to the post of National Assembly from among those academicians. Today, Oli issued a whip to cast votes for the same Narayan who contested the election for the post of chairman of the National Assembly.
The very Pushpakamal Dahal nominated him as a candidate for the post of the NA chair.
Renu Dahal is the best
London is considered to be the mother of democracy. Nevertheless, hanky-panky is also taking place there. London nominated Renu Dahal as the best mayor of Nepal and awarded her. When the father is the prime minister, there is no scarcity of funds, in fact, taxpayers’ money is being diverted to the Bharatpur Metropolis. Therefore, Renu’s daughter Renu has been declared the best mayor. For what? The answer should be the conversion of religion.
The reality is that the number of Christian communities has enormously increased since Renu Dahal became mayor. There is something behind rewarding Renu Dahal in London.
QUOTES OF THE WEEK
No wonder the Russian government is not cooperating with the Nepal government, which is siding with Ukraine by joining the Indo-Pacific Strategy to get $500 million grant from MCC.
Why don’t the Nepalese learn what kind of diplomacy is successful from Russia helping India?
Ratna Sansar Shrestha
The Upper House, as expected by our constitution and other constitutional practices, is not happening like that. Leaders have turned it into a place to manage their own people. We are the people’s system. Leaders and ministers are the only heirs of the people. Let’s discuss the fate of Parliament now.
Bhimarjun Acharya
Commoners’ sons have become president and vice president. Their sons, by smuggling gold, ushered the country into a “golden age”. The image of the country has shone with a golden color in the international arena.
Sharad Raj Pathak
The way the current constitution is being implemented, as it has been done before, turns the leaders from millionaires to billionaires and makes the country bankrupt.
Kamal Koirala
Dispose of the National Assembly, dispose of provinces, dispose of coordination committees, suspend unnecessary foreign visits of the ministers, introduce the provision of one MP from one district, and suspend all the “deputy” posts.
Narendra Bikram Chand
Now it is too much. I wish a benevolent, honest, and capable dictator for Nepal. We have to develop our country and make our people happy. More than half of the world will support it. Moreover, we don’t have to take permission from anyone for our development.
Dr.Rambhakta Thakur
It is a “political fraud” to say that identity is in crisis, even doing the politics of identity carrying Nepali citizenship.
