Babbles: Competition of being nationalist

Competition of being nationalist

Political parties are in competition for demonstrating their patriotic stance since the Indians released a new political map by incorporating Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpuiadhara in the map. The Indians had deployed its security force in Kalapani area for a long time. However, the political parties had remained silent. Overnight, they came down to the streets to protest the Indian decision. After all why? Perhaps, it is because of the upcoming by-elections! If the Indians in the government have understood or not, the Nepali people are always against the Indian hegemony. The economic blockade imposed by India has further fueled the anti-Indian sentiment among the Nepalis. Therefore, in every election, the political parties demonstrate patriotic image to attract votes.

Curbing anti-Indian demonstrations

Some of the mainstream media have made efforts to wipe-out any anti-Indian demonstrations taking place in Nepal against the new political map of India which has incorporated Kalapani, a Nepali territory within its map.
It makes clear that from where the media are being funded!
Interestingly, effigy of Indian PM Narendra Modi was burnt in different parts of the country. They got less coverage.
Meanwhile it is learnt that the Indian embassy in Kathmandu has become furious from the attitude of the political parties for allowing their student wings to go to the streets for demonstration. A source said that the Indian diplomats have scolded former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and warned for not allowing NC’s student organization in the streets. Let’s see, NSU leaders and followers will be seen or not in the streets!

China has also encroached Nepali soil!

India has encroached a large portion of Nepali land. However, some media are saying that China has also encroached Nepali soil. It is learnt that to sabotage the Indian encroachment, the media, under the sponsorship of the Indian Embassy here, has blamed China for encroaching Nepali soil! Great idea!
