Kathmandu, February 13: Durga Prasain-led ‘Nagarik Bachau Abhiyaan’ is going to demonstrate power in Kathmandu today (February 13).
Earlier, he had demanded the Open Theatre to organize the mass assembly. When he didn’t get permission for the mass meeting there, he decided to organize the mass gathering at the Bhrikutimandap today.
Prasain, a medical entrepreneur, is launching a demonstration demanding the Hindu kingdom and protecting national identity for a year.
Last year, on 1 Falgun, coinciding with the “people’s war” day, Prasain organized an assembly by inviting the deposed king and other members of the Royal Family at the Nepal-India Friendship Bridge in Kakarvitta, East Nepal.
He continued the demonstration program from Mechi to Mahakali and also demonstrated the strength in Kathmandu several months ago.
As a continuation of his campaign, Prasain is organizing a demonstration in Kathmandu.
The Prasain-led group is said to be announcing the agitation programme to fail the present system.
