With the spate of foreign visits by UML’s apex leaders now finally, or perhaps only temporarily, at a low ebb, it has apparently begun to take serious cognizance of what appears on the political horizon as a bruising confrontation that could burst into the open during the next session of parliament.
With the political opposition, principally that led by former Nepali Congress Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, spoiling for a fight, the UML too is clearly gearing for action. Meanwhile, parallel moves are also being made across other political chessboards, be it the RPP or Sadbhavana.
