
Kathmandu, 15 August: Thai International Airways, which suspended its flight to Kathmandu following the Covid-19 pandemic three years ago, has applied for resuming its Bangkok-Kathmandu-Bangkok flights.
Thai International Airways (TIA) is the pioneer airline directly linking Nepal with Thailand, an East Asian nation.
The Airways is seeking permission for operating narrow-body Airbus daily for the Bangkok-Kathmandu-Bangkok sector from 15 November, said Gyanendra Bhool, information officer, Civil Aviation Authority.
Thai International Airways is the first airline which had started international flights to Kathmandu with its jet aircraft 54 years ago.
