Kathmandu, 1 August: Uddav Thapa, NC leader, has been appointed the chief minister of the Koshi Province.
This is the second time, he has been appointed chief minister.
Speaker Baburam Gautam tendered his resignation from the post and signed for Thapa’s candidature, reaching 47 votes, a majority to form the government, in the province assembly.
Province chief Parshuram Khapung has appointed Thapa to the post of chief minister today.
Thapa is taking the oath of office tomorrow (Wednesday).
