Kathmandu, 29 May: The government is going to carry out a feasibility study of cannabis farming for medicinal use. This was announced in the budget statement read out by Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat at the federal parliament today.
Minister Mahat presented the annual estimate (budget) of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2023/24. He said that adequate funds have been allocated to carry out a feasibility of cannabis farming for medicinal purpose only.
