Kathmandu, February 9: The government is preparing to pass a new law by the ongoing session of the House of Representatives aiming at the Investment Summit scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on April 21 and 22, 2024.
The government has been consulting with experts to create an environment for foreign direct investment.
The Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Ministry has drafted a bill, which will be tabled in the House once it is approved by the Cabinet.
The government has decided to remove the existing hurdles in the laws related to foreign investment.
