Gov. committed to eradicate corruption

Prime Minister Manmohan Adhikari has made it clear that despite delays in drafting the much–talked about Commission Act there would be sincere efforts towards channeling money received as commission into national coffers. The Act would be presented to the parliament during its 9th session or within about 6 months.

Adhikari made that disclosure while answering questions at a meet the press programmed at Baluwater last Thursday.

Regarding the UML’s programmed for land reform and ending the kamaiya system, he said that while they were being given the cold shoulder by  Nepalese society, the West  was providing us with considerable inspiration for their speedy implementation.
