The Man Mohan Adhikari government, the first ever Communist government in the history of this country, has adopted an approach to recruitment of top-level managers of public corporations that would do the Harvard Business School proud, say observers.
In arriving at such a conclusion, they point to the fact that through recent public advertisements, His Majesty’s Government has called for applications from interested, qualified candidates above the age of 35 the age at which recruitment into HMG normally stops to fill positions of general managers and executive heads of public corporations under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry.
