Kathmandu, August 8: Kalyan Bikram Pandey has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited. He assumed office as the bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer effective August 14, 2026.
The newly appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Pandey, has more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector. He has previously worked in various important positions at Global IME Bank, the former Janata Bank, Laxmi Bank, Kumari Bank and other banks.
Pandey, who holds a first-class degree in finance from Bangalore University as well as a B-Tech degree in the qualification stated in the source from Aligarh Muslim University, has extensive experience in planning and implementation, corporate and infrastructure banking, SME and retail banking, business transformation and digitalization, risk management and compliance, as well as trade finance and transaction banking. Likewise, he has gained significant experience in mergers, acquisitions and integration, financial analysis and product development, and sustainable and green banking.
Known for his leadership capabilities and results-oriented working style, Pandey’s appointment is expected by Machhapuchchhre Bank to make a significant contribution to the bank’s business expansion, improvement in service delivery and achievement of its strategic objectives, drawing on his extensive banking experience and financial expertise.
