PM Dahal leaving for Delhi today, returning tomorrow

Kathmandu, June 9: Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal is flying to New Delhi this afternoon to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PM Dahal is returning home tomorrow, June 10.

PM Dahal is leading a five-member delegation in his team.

PM Dahal’s daughter Ganga Dahal, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, foreign secretary Sewa Lamshal, chief of the South Desk in the Foreign Ministry are included in the team.

Indian PM Modi is taking the oath of office for the third tenure this evening at the Indian President’s Office.

At the sideline of the swearing-in ceremony, Indian PM Modi and PM Dahal are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting.

Indian PM Modi has established the tradition of inviting heads of government from the South Asian region during his swearing-in ceremony.

Earlier, he had invited the then prime minister Sushil Koirala to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
