Kathmandu, May 17: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has asked to form a parliamentary inquiry committee and said that Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane should be allowed to speak.
RPP chief whip Gyan Bahadur (Gyanendra) Shahi has said that a parliamentary probe committee should be formed to investigate Lamichhane on the charge of co-operative fraud, however, Lamichhane should be allowed to address the House meeting.
Shahi said this in a discussion with chief whips and whips called by Speaker Devraj Ghimire to talk about ending the obstructions in the House by the Congress demanding an investigation into Lamichhane.
