Kathmandu, May 2: Inspector General of Police Basant Bahadur Kunwar and Head of International Relations Division of Indonesian National Police, IGP Krishna Murthy, had a courtesy meeting at the Nepal Police Headquarters on Thursday. During the meeting, mutual cooperation, exchange of information and coordination were also discussed between them.Earlier, Senior Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Karki gave a presentation on Nepal Police’s organizational introduction, history, structure, work duties, participation of Nepal Police in the United Nations Federal Peace Mission and international coordination and cooperation in the program organized in the presence of a 6-member team including IGP Krishna Murthy.
On that occasion, IGP Krishna Murthy gave detailed information about the work and duties of the Indonesian National Police and said that cooperation with the Nepal Police will be done in information sharing, international crime, cyber crime, participation in the United Nations Federal Mission, etc. Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of the Indonesian National Police, Leo Andi Gunawan, made a presentation about the participation of the Indonesian National Police in the United Nations Federal Mission.
