Kathmandu, April 30: Non-residential ambassador of Vietnam to Nepal, Nguyen Thanh Hai, who was in Kathmandu, held a joint meeting with honorary consulate general of Vietnam, Rajeshkaji Shrestha, and chairman of the Nepal-Vietnam Industry and Trade, Deepak Malhotra in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, they discussed increasing Buddhist pilgrimages visit from Vietnam to Nepal, providing cooperation in the field of agriculture and strengthening information technology in Nepal.
The meeting also discussed establishing a food processing project in Nepal.
Moreover, the meeting also discussed operating Nepal-Vietnam direct air service and providing trade and transit facilities in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese envoy said that he would make all efforts to support Nepal with such facilities.
Both partners decided to organize different programs on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and Vietnam.
