
Kathmandu, 13 April: Chinese tourists who visited Nepal on the eve of Nepali New Year were welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport with fanfare. This morning, 181 Chinese tourists came to visit Nepal by chartering a plane of Himalaya Airlines.
Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kiranti, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song welcomed the Chinese tourists with garlands.
The Director General of the Department of Tourism Homprasad Luintel said, “It is a matter of happiness for us that so many tourists come to Nepal in a one go, that’s why the minister, the ambassador and we welcomed them at the airport.” Luintel said that 700 Chinese tourists are visiting Nepal and the first group arrived today.
