Kathmandu, 13 April: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba and senior leader Sekhar Koirala have reached an agreement for sharing the government from the Nepali Congress.
At the meeting held at Koirala’s secretariat on Thursday morning, leaders from the Koirala camp informed about the latest agreement between the two leaders.
While briefing the members in the Koirala camp, the leaders said that an agreement has been reached between Deuba and Koirala for sending ministers from the Koirala camp. It has been agreed for giving three ministries with three full ministers and one cabinet minister to the Koirala camp. However, the cabinet will be expanded only after the by-elections, it was informed.
Earlier, NC was satisfied with eight ministries, however, due to the dissatisfaction and non-cooperation from the Koirala camp, NC has sent only four ministers to the cabinet.
Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal is trying to adjust the Koirala camp by providing Ministry for Drinking Water, which was quit by the Janamat Party, to the NC by reaching a total of nine ministries for the party.
