Kathmandu, 11 April: The Survey Office and the Land Revenue Office are being merged.
The process has been taken forward to merge the offices in a bid to make service delivery effective and reduce problems facing service seekers in reaching the two separate offices of the same nature in terms of service they provide, said Damodar Regmi, Secretary at the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
The Director General at the Department of Survey Janak Raj Joshi said the merger was as per the demand of people. —
