Kathmandu, 31 March: After a backbreaking exercise Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal aka ‘Prachanda’ has expanded the Cabinet but it is still incomplete.   This is the seventh time in three months after he became the Prime Minister. Only12 ministers took oath of office today, i.e. he has 16 ministers and one state minister to extend helping hands.  Six ministries are still vacant due to his failure to reach an agreement within the ruling party.

Four ministries allotted to the Nepali Congress, one ministry each from the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) and the Janmat Party have become vacant. However, there has been confusion following to the resignation of Janmaat Party’s Minister Abdul Khan who was looking after the portfolio of Water and Sanitation Ministry.

The Janmat Party claimed stake on Ministry of agriculture and Industry but it was shattered after Congress leader Ramesh Rijal and Beduram Bhusal of the United Samajwadi Party  were appointed in those ministries, Janmat Party’s  minister  Khan resigned.

The inside story is different in resignation of Minister Khan. Party Chair CK Raut is not happy with PM Dahal and his alley Nepali Congress, for backing allegedly corrupt Madheshi leader Upendra Yadav. Yadav, has been making onus efforts in entering the Parliament.
