Kathmandu, 31 March: Former King Gyanendra is scheduled to attend a civic reception being organized in honour of him on Monday, 3 April, according to Ballav Prasad Dahal, coordinator, Nepal Academicans Council, Eastern Zone.
Former King Shah is staying in Damak, Jhapa for the past several months.
Dahal informed that around 30 to 40 thousand people are going to attend the ceremony in Inarawa, reports Nepal Samaya Online portal.
Earlier this week, the former King was seen at religious functions in Itahari, where, a large number of commoners greeted him.
