
Kathmandu, 17 March: Janata Samajwadi Party leader Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has been elected as the third vice president of Nepal. Yadav was elected as the vice president after defeating UML vice president Ashta Laxmi Shakya and Janamat Party leader Mamta Jha.
Leader Yadav garnered 30, 328 votes’ weight. He got 14,536 votes from the federal parliament and 15,792 votes from the Provincial Assembly. However, it has not been officially announced.
