Kathmandu, 14 March: India, China and the United States of America have congratulated Ram Chandra Paudel on his assumption to the post of the President.

President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu extending best wishes to Paudel  has expressed the confidence that the wide ranging cooperation between India and Nepal would be strengthened further under his able guidance.

“I look forward to working closely with you in nurturing and further strengthening our bilateral partnership,” she has said in the message. Stating that as close and friendly neighbours, India and Nepal enjoy cordial and multifaceted relations, characterized by deep civilisational, cultural, and people-to-people ties, the Indian President has said that the last several years have seen Indo-Nepal relations achieving significant progress in a variety of areas, bringing mutual benefit to the people of the two countries.

Likewise, the People’s Republic of China has congratulated President Paudel. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song  wishing  him a successful tenure has expressed his belief that China-Nepal friendship would be further strengthened under the leadership of Paudel.
