Kathmandu, 4 March: UML chair and former prime minister K.P. Sharma Oli has said that Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal is trying to convert Nepali into a foreigners’ playground by conspiring against China.
Prachanda has betrayed China by allowing India to open a university in Mustang and wished to convert Nepal into a foreigners’ playground, Oli claimed.
Addressing a programme organised by the Local Level Servicemen’s Association at Chayashal today, Oli said that viewing the uranium mine in Mustang, efforts are being made to run a university, which is a serious threat to the nation.
Oli said that opening the university in a lonely place having no settlement is odd.
Prachanda has denied pesticide tests on vegetables imported from India just to please India, which is objectionable, said Oli.
Prachanda intends to please India even by killing Nepali citizens, Oli blamed.
Opening the university in Mustang is an example of brokering for foreigners and an attempt for betraying nationalism, Oli said.
This is an attempt to repeat the incident of 2031 BS and discard own country’s national sovereignty, he said.
Oli added, In 2031 BS, Wangdi had moved forward towards Tibet. (To note, Wandgi had led the Khampa revolt against China.)
Running a university in Lomathang like a lonely place is aimed at serving those “paid” people who are settled there, Oli said.
Oli further said that the present eight-party alliance has no goal.
