Kathmandu, 10 February: A doctor of National Trauma Center has been beaten by security personnel for walking during President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s ride to Parliament this afternoon. Dr Janit Singh was thrashed by the police and the doctors protested it, according to Navraj Gautam, Duty Officer at the Center.
While the President was returning to his official residence after addressing the Joint session of the Federal Parliament, doctor Singh, who was walking outside Bir Hospital was lathi-charged by the police deputed there.
