
Kathmandu, 30 January: US undersecretary for political affairs, Victoria Nuland has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal today at PM’s official residence in Baluatar.
According to the Prime Minister’s secretariat, the PM and the US undersecretary discussed bilateral cooperation, mutual interest and US aid programs in Nepal during the meeting. Nuland had arrived in Kathmandu Sunday evening for a two-day visit. She is also scheduled to meet Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML chair KP Sharma Oli, and Foreign Minister Dr. Bimala Rai Poudel, among others.
