Kathmandu, 28 January: Ambassador Victoria Nuland, Under Secretary, Political Affairs, US State Department, is arriving in Kathmandu tomorrow (29 January).
Ambassador Nuland is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on high-ranking political leaderships and attend a press conference on Monday, 30 January, according to Gorkhapatra daily.
Ambassador Nuland’s Nepal visit is meaningful, the government mouthpiece has stated.
Political analyst Bharat Dahal has stated that Ms Nuland had masterminded the regime change in Ukraine in 2014.
The regime change in Ukraine has resulted in Russian military operations there.
