
Kathmandu, 23 January: Nepali Congress leader Dr Sekhar Koirala has asked the party leadership to withdraw its support to the government led by Pushpakamal Dahal.
Koirala said that the vote of confidence extended by the NC was a wrong decision.
The meeting of the anti-establishment camp in the Nepali Congress held on Sunday concluded with the decision of withdrawing the party’s support to the government.
Meanwhile, NC’s establishment faction has asked the Parliament Secretariat to recognize the party as the main opposition party and provide facilities given to the main opposition party.
Constitutional question has raised regarding the issue of the opposition party after NC voted in favour of vote of confidence.
