Kathmandu, 22 January: The Parliament Secretariat is facing difficulty in identifying the opposition party after the Nepali Congress also voted for Pushpakamal Dahal while exhibiting the vote of confidence motion.
The Nepali Congress has written a letter to the Parliament Secretariat for recognizing the party as the main opposition party.
Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party has also claimed for recognizing the party as the main opposition party. This party, with reference to the constitution, has claimed for being the main opposition party. According to the party, NC is no more the main opposition party after it supported the government.
Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party and Rastriya Janamorcha had voted against Dahal, however, both parties have failed to be recognized as the national party.
