Oli suspicious of PM Dahal

Kathmandu, 16 January: Recent role of Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda has made UML chair and major partner of the present coalition K.P. Sharma Oli suspicious.

PM Dahal has called an all-party meeting to decide on the candidates for the President, Vice President and speakers.

On Saturday afternoon, PM Dahal, talking to a group of journalists at PM’s official residence, informed that he is positive towards the role of the Nepali Congress which also voted for his government.

“I have to pay back to the NC against its cooperation with the government,” PM Dahal said.

He further said that there was no agreement between him and Oli for the post of President and VP.

These are the indication that PM Dahal is eager to support the NC candidate for the post of President.

Also, under the southern instruction, PM Dahal may try to corner UML led by K.P. Oli.

The formation of a communist-dominated government in Nepal has become a headache for the West and South as well.

Now, Prachanda has become the main player who is dancing to the tune of the foreign powers.
