Kathmandu, 29 December: Today’s meeting of the political parties in the ruling alliance has named UML chair K.P. Sharma Oli the coordinator of the alliance.
The meeting today also decided to issue a common minimum programme by the government within five days.
RPP chair Lingden, who had participated in the alliance meeting, had demanded issuing a common minimum programme of the government and the government’s commitment to demands put forward by RPP.
RPP has demanded to announce a national holiday on 27 Pous, the birth anniversary of King Prithivi Narayan Shah, and empowering the CIAA for investigating the works and decisions made by the government, among others.
