Kathmandu, 28 December: Brigadier General Krishna Prasad Bhandari has been assigned as the Nepal Army spokesman. Bhandari succeeded Brigadier General Narayan Silwal. 

Gen Silwal has been assigned as the chair of the Kathmandu-Tarai Madhesh Fast Track Monitoring and Coordinating Committee.
