RPP, Nagarik Unmukti Party not to join govt

Kathmandu, 26 December:  The fifth largest party in the Federal Parliament, the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Nagarik Unmukti Party have decided not to join the government but back it from outside.

RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden said that his party will not join the government while emerging out of the meeting of the seven party alliance held at the Federal Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwar.

Likewise,  Nagarik Unmukti Party Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha has also stated that her  party will not immediately join the government until their political demands are met. Both the leaders have said that they will only support the government.
