Kathmandu, 17 December: Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party chairman Narayanman Bijukche has said that India is conspiring to make the new president from the judiciary sector.
For some days, former chief justices Khilaraj Regmi and Kalyan Shrestha have started a race to become the president of Nepal.
Bijukche said that earlier too, India had made Regmi the chairman of the council of ministers and now again, India has initiated a move to make the new India-confidant president from the judiciary sector. Bijukche has asked all the forces to struggle against such an Indian design.
Addressing a function organized to mark the 73rd establishment day of the Bhaktapur Municipality today, said that the country’s judiciary and executive are functioning under the Indian shadow, therefore, all the patriotic forces have to start a struggle against such foreign interventions.
Bijukche also said that the Indian decisions have become effective in making prime ministers and ensuring the victory of those candidates loyal to India in elections.
His party had put pressure on the government for establishing a fertilizer factory in the country, however, ministers, afraid of India, were seen as reluctant to establish the factory, Bijukche said.
He also said that India has already taken the key to water resources development and running Nepali industries in its own direction after its privatization.
