IME honored for paying highest tax

Kathmandu, 24  November: Among the remittance companies, IME has been honored as the remittance company that paid the highest tax in the fiscal year 2021/22. IME Group President Chandra Prasad Dhakal received the honor during a special ceremony held on Wednesday by the Internal Revenue Department on the occasion of National Tax Day.

Established in 2001, IME has been playing a key role in institutionalizing the overall remittance sector of Nepal. The main credit goes to IME for initiating the process of bringing foreign currency into Nepal through the banking channel. In recognition of this, IME has been honored with various national and international awards.

IME, which is preparing to go for IPO, has been honored many times since its inception for paying highest tax.
