Kathmandu, 24 November: Chen Song has been named new Chinese ambassador to Nepal. Diplomatic sources in Beijing and Kathmandu have confirmed that Chen is going to be China’s next ambassador to Nepal. However, it has not been officially announced.
Chen is currently serving as a Deputy Director General at the Department of Asian Affairs at the Chinese Foreign Ministry. He overseeing South Asian affairs.
