Kathmandu, 8 October: Though there has been marathon meetings among the top leaders of the ruling political parties, they have failed to allocate seats for November 20 election. However, a leader has claimed that the ruling parties for the election of House of Representatives (HoR) has reached the final stage.
Meanwhile, the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has walked out from the five-party alliance. It took time for the alliance to finalize seat allocation due to JSP, according to five-party taskforce member and leader of the Rastriya Janamorcha, Him Lal Puri.
The Election Commission has scheduled October 9 as the date for the parties to submit candidacies for the election of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly. In view of the deadline, the alliance is under pressure to finalize the seat sharing and submit names before the Election Commission.
