Retired civil servants raise questions over Mahakali

At a round table discussion on the integrated Mahakali Treaty organized in Kathmandu by the Council of Retired Civil Servants and the Development Service Group on 7 July, a host of questions were raised including many that evoked the saying “looking the stable door after the horse has bolted”

A few individuals, such as water resources expert Govinda Das Shrestha, did however make positive references in his presentation to the “change of attitude” on the part of India specially where the right of   “equal sharing of benefits” was concerned in the specific context of the Mahakali Treaty.
