NJP deplores violence against Nepalese in India

The Nepal Janata Parishad (NJP) has deplored what it referred to as rising incidents of violence in India against Nepalese nationals and Indians of Nepalese origin and has urged it to be fully alert to discharge its responsibilities in that regard.

That was stated in a press release issued by the NJP at a press conference on May 20, addressed among others by its secretary general Shreebhadra Sharma and former Prime Minister and party vice chairman Kirtinidhi Bista.

The NJP also came out strongly against the unpardonable slaying of 8 Nepalese labourers in Kashmir and pointed out that in that regard HMG had not been able to “say anything” to the people about it.

Additionally, the NJP statement has failed thus far to inform the people responsible for that crime and where they had come from.
