
Kathmandu, 12 July: Nepali Congress Central Committee member Govinda Pokhrel has suggested to reduce the facilities provided to the political leadership from the local level to the federal government.
Speaking at a meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Committee on Tuesday, Pokharel suggested party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the Prime Minister, to reduce the facilities of political leadership by coordinating with the Provincial Governments. “Until our economic situation improves, let’s cut down unnecessary facilities provided to the political leadership from the local level to the federal government,” he said.
