Kathmandu, 5 July: The main opposition party, CPN-UML affiliated Youth Association Nepal, has staged a protest against Finance Minister Janardan Sharma on Tuesday.
Sharma has been accused of manipulating the tax rates in the interest of traders by allowing unauthorized person in the Ministry of Finance on midnight of May 28 during the preparation of the budget. He is alleged of destroying evidence related to that (CCTV footage).
It staged a demonstration demanding dismissal or resignation of Sharma. During the protest, the cadres of the association have made a picture full of sarcasm depicting him as a mouse to it.
