UML boycotts parliament saying it does not accept Finance Minister

Kathmandu, 16 June: The main opposition CPN (UML) has boycotted the meeting of the House of Representatives. Accusing the Finance Minister Janardan Sharma of introducing unauthorized persons in the Finance Ministry while determining the revenue rate, UML said that it would not accept such a morally bankrupt Finance Minister.

After Finance Minister Sharma started replying in the House of Representatives on Thursday, UML Chief Whip Bishal Bhattarai said that the party would boycott the reply session of Finance Minister but would participate in other processes.
