Kathmandu, 7 July : Additional Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri has been appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Nepal Police.
A Cabinet meeting of held this evening promoted Chhetri to the post. Incumbent IGP Thakur Gyawali is retiring tomorrow.
