Kathmandu, 14 May : Former King Gynendra and Queen Komal Shah have been barred to come to Kathmandu from Jhapa. The former royal couples were denied a vehicle pass by the Minister of Home Affairs on Thursday.
Ex-King Shah had applied for a vehicle pass at the Jhapa District Administration Office and was issued one but the Ministry of Home Affairs immediately scrapped the pass issued by the local administration stating that the application did not meet the standard procedure set by the ministry, reports Setopati.
