Kathmandu, 19 January: This evening’s Nepal Communist Party’s Secretariat meeting has unanimously approved Agni Sapkota’s name as the candidate to the post of speaker.
As NCP holds absolute majority in the Federal Parliament, it is sure that Sapkota will be elected as the new speaker.
As Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli performed flexibility, it has become possible for party co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal to endorse his candidate from the Party Secretariat.
