Kathmandu, October 13: Nepal Airlines has banned the carriage of the Mobikins MK-PB-04 model power bank.
According to Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) 14/2026 issued by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the power bank is completely prohibited in hand baggage, checked baggage, and cargo on flights operating within, to, or from India.
Nepal Airlines has requested passengers travelling between Nepal and India not to carry the specified power bank with them.
Following a fire involving a power bank on an Indian aircraft, the airline announced the ban.
